Amani Collective Living

By accessing Amani Collective Living services or residing in one of our shared living homes, you acknowledge and agree to the following Membership Terms & Conditions.

1. Membership Overview

Amani Collective Living operates as a membership-based independent living program offering furnished shared housing to qualified individuals.

Participation is provided on a month-to-month membership basis and does not constitute a lease or create a landlord-tenant relationship.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for membership, individuals must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Demonstrate the ability to live independently

  • Agree to comply with all membership terms and house rules

  • Maintain a drug- and alcohol-free lifestyle

  • Not pose a risk to the safety, well-being, or comfort of others

3. Membership Dues & Monthly Fees

  • One-Time Membership Fee: $800 (non-refundable)

  • Monthly Membership Fee: Starting at $900
    (Rates vary based on room type and location)

The one-time membership fee covers onboarding, administrative processing, placement coordination, and access to program amenities.

Monthly membership fees are due in advance and must be paid on time to maintain active membership status.

4. Membership Inclusions

Membership provides access to:

  • Furnished private or shared accommodations

  • Utilities (electricity, water, gas, trash services)

  • High-speed Wi-Fi

  • Shared kitchen and laundry facilities

  • Secure entry systems (including thumbprint locks)

  • Security monitoring in common areas

  • On-site house management and periodic wellness check-ins

5. Membership Term & Cancellation

  • All memberships are month-to-month

  • Members may voluntarily terminate membership with a minimum of 7 days’ written notice

  • Amani Collective Living reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership due to non-payment or policy violations

6. Code of Conduct & House Expectations

To maintain a respectful and harmonious living environment, all members are expected to:

  • Follow all posted house rules and community standards

  • Maintain cleanliness in both personal and shared spaces

  • Participate in assigned household responsibilities

  • Refrain from disruptive, threatening, or unsafe behavior

  • Observe curfew guidelines, where applicable

  • Respect the privacy, property, and personal boundaries of others

A comprehensive list of house rules will be provided during orientation. Violations may result in warnings, corrective action, or termination of membership.

7. Drug & Alcohol-Free Policy

Amani Collective Living maintains a strict drug- and alcohol-free environment.

  • The use, possession, or distribution of drugs or alcohol is strictly prohibited

  • Violations may result in immediate termination of membership

8. Room Access & Inspections

Management reserves the right to access member rooms for:

  • Routine safety checks

  • Maintenance and repairs

  • Compliance inspections

Whenever possible, reasonable notice will be provided. Discovery of prohibited items or unsafe conditions may result in immediate action.

9. Non-Tenancy Agreement

Membership in Amani Collective Living does not grant tenancy rights and is not governed by traditional landlord-tenant laws.

This program is structured as a private membership arrangement, and participation may be revoked in accordance with these terms.

10. Termination of Membership

Membership may be terminated at the discretion of Amani Collective Living for reasons including, but not limited to:

  • Failure to pay required fees

  • Violation of house rules or safety policies

  • Non-compliance with wellness check-ins

  • Behavior that endangers oneself or others

11. Limitation of Liability

Amani Collective Living is not liable for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings. Members are encouraged to secure and insure their personal property as needed.

12. Acknowledgment & Agreement

By submitting payment and signing the intake agreement, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by all Membership Terms & Conditions, policies, and house rules established by Amani Collective Living.
